My name is Arlene Sulkis. I love New York City. It is where I live and work as a consultant and stylist in the beauty industry.
I am also a student of the philosophy, Aesthetic Realism, founded by the American poet and critic, Eli Siegel. I have a greater appreciation of all the arts, including music, which has enabled me to know myself more deeply through this important, life changing principle:
"All beauty is a making one of opposites and the making one of opposites, is what we are going after in ourselves."
When a person sees that the world and oneself have the same structure, the oneness of aesthetic opposites, it makes for the greatest awe and self respect. I feel keener, kinder and more alive!
